Our services

Co-operative Futures has been working for co-operative and community owned enterprises for 11 years, many of whom have become our members and now help us to run our own business through voluntary service on our Board of Directors.

And when we say working for Co-operative and community owned enterprises that is what we mean. We have to make a profit (unless you are running a charitable trust trying to totally give its money away, pretty much everything has to make a profit) but we are not run for profit. We are registered as not-for-profit with HMRC and any profit that we do make is not taken out of our business, but is instead reinvested in further support of co-operatives and community owned enterprises.

This means that the needs of co-operative and community owned enterprises are written into our company’s DNA.

In short, if you are from or would like to be from the co-operative and community owned enterprise world, we are you.

What does that mean to you, a possible new client?

Many consultancies may claim to understand the needs of their client base or target market.

Co-operative Futures is a member owned business, as are our members, and that’s why we are so good at what we do.

The services we provide are tailored to our clients’ needs. We care passionately that our clients are well set-up with sound business and marketing plans, that they have the right legal and governance arrangements in place, all of which will help them to establish and develop successful and responsible businesses.

We work with start-ups and existing companies. We advise a wide variety of enterprises including public sector spin-offs, groups of professionals, local community groups and other user owned organisations.

Our services are good. They have to be. Our members and clients demand it.
